Repair
DIY repair for Indramat servos, drives, and controls isn’t really an option. Indramat servos are not designed to be repaired in the field. They are designed for easy removal so they can be sent into the factory for a repair, however.
Sending your Indramat drive or servo to a generic third party repair shop is risky. You might get a quality repair, but there’s no guarantee. Bosch Rexroth, the company that owns the Indramat brand, does not authorize third parties, and they do not provide original parts to third parties.

Sometimes your unit may be beyond repair. We tend to see this with units that have been misused, or repaired by third parties in the past. Indramat built drives and servos to run reliably for decades. However, neglecting your machinery, or trying your luck with a third party repair shop, can lead to irreversible damage and require a replacement for your machinery.
