When your machinery gets old and obsolete, you should replace it, upgrade it, and toss out your old stuff, right?
That’s not the most environmentally responsible thing to do.
Do you need new motion control equipment?
You might need a new drive or controller. But you might not. Upgrading one part of your system can put stress on other parts. You can end up with a new component with a very different footprint from your old one, necessitating reconfiguration of your whole shop. It can also end up putting lots of non-biodegradable waste in a landfill.
But is your old servo motor waste? It really isn’t.
A sales rep will refer to your Indramat components as “obsolete” and “outdated.” But factory repair and reman can bring most Indramat components back to you as good as new — or even better, since they receive replacement of all wearing parts with the newest version at no extra charge. They can go back into service and work hard for you for a few more decades.
We call these components “legacy,” not “obsolete.”
If you choose to upgrade
Maybe it really is time to upgrade. But that doesn’t mean you should get rid of the old machinery by tossing it into the landfill. Your component, once it’s remanufactured, might be just exactly what someone else needs.
Let us help you with the upgrade by sending you the new component you need while taking the old one off your hands and getting it into the hands of someone who needs it.
We specialize in Indramat motion control systems, and work with the newest iterations of those systems, the Indradrive and Indralogic systems, as well as delegacy Indramat units.
Put yourself in our hands for the fastest and most reliable factory repair and reman, upgrades, and service.
