Rapid response is a good thing. You want a rapid response when you call for an ambulance. You want a rapid response when you call for a pizza, too. Pairing Indramat MAC motors with a TDM, KDS, or DSC drive controller gives you a rapid response motion control system. Call 479-422-0390 for any of your Indramat service needs.
What you get with Indramat MAC motors
The MAC motor series comes in a half-dozen different flavors. You have the MAC 063, MAC 071, MAC 090, MAC 093, MAC 112, and the MAC 115. When you pair up one of these AC motors with a TDM, KDS, or DSC drive controller, you end up with a nice little rapid-response motion control system.
You can find Indramat MAC motors in many different industries, but they are especially well suited for machine tools, textile machines, printing presses, handling equipment, transfer facilities, robotics, and packaging.
MAC motor design results in low inertia. The rotor materials and the permanent magnets attached to the rotor work together to help reduce inertia as well as wear and tear on the motor.
In addition to their low inertia construction, these servo motors are built like little tanks. The motor housing on MAC motors is extremely tough and durable. You could set up a printing press on the moon or pop a MAC motor in a robot designed to prowl the ocean floor.
A burly motor housing is important to protect the internal components and ensure that you get the longest lifetime out of your drives.
You can mount Indramat MAC motors in any orientation. The electrical connections aren’t fixed, they can be changed at any time.
